Yay someone else who’s read it! That series needs more love than it gets. Unbound is an adult series so some of the content is more mature (i.e. there’s sex) compared to Soul Screamers which is YA. It’s also got a different plot (have a read of the synopsis - it’s so interesting) but the style of writing is pretty much the same and I’m sure you’d enjoy the series if you love one of Rachel’s series already!
She’s also written another adult paranormal series called Shifters (the first book is Stray) which you might also enjoy but I just thought it was alright personally.
Yes but that’s the fun of it all. My room is like a mini library so I always have plenty of books to choose from!

Ten books or series → Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
She couldn’t repay him. She couldn’t even appropriately thank him. How can you thank someone for The Cure? Or the X-Men? Sometimes it felt like she’d always be in his debt.
And then she realized that Park didn’t know about the Beatles.
Maybe subconsciously the bad things you hear about a book can be in the back of your mind while you’re reading but they shouldn’t affect your own opinion too much. I’ve read a lot of books in the past where people have written such awful reviews about it and I’ve ended up loving them. That’s the great thing about reading - every book is different to each reader. Reviews are great for preparing you and giving you the book’s essence but really it’s all about what you think about the book and not someone else. I try not to let negative reviews affect my reading experience too much.
I haven’t! I don’t know much about it but I’m a bit wary about some of the negative reviews I’ve read - but you shouldn’t always listen to them. I’m sure some of my followers will have read it.
Not at all. A lot of people didn’t! It seems like half of the people I know who have read it loved it and the other half hated it. I was wary about it but in the end I enjoyed it personally. It’s okay that you didn’t anon. :)
I LOVED IT. The second person parts were really effective and it’s all just so unique and wonderfully written. It’s slow (don’t expect from the blurb that it’ll be all action because it’s not) but I really enjoyed it. It made me want to go to Le Cirque de Rêves and wear a red scarf.
